fall in NYC

Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love New York City. It's my soul home and whenever I am there, I feel so alive. I try to travel there several times a year--and often take one or more of my kids with me.

This trip, my hubby had a presentation to give, so Andromeda (my youngest) and I went with him. He worked a couple days while Andi and I went out exploring. It was her second trip to NYC, and she wants to move there.

It was her second time flying, and she had a blast.

We did so much and had so much fun. Chinatown:
Little Italy:

Of course we went to the top of the Empire State Building--I never grow tired of that view~

By the third cab ride, Andi was hopping in and telling the driver where to go, and by the fifth, she was hailing cabs. I think she loves NYC as much as I do!

We had a blast at the American Museum of Natural History:

The dino puzzle was a lot of fun--for both of us.

We spent a day at the American Girl Store--shopping, lunch, and salon. Whew, that place is pricey! Andi had a ton of fun in the doll salon. I had a bit of a headache from all the pink.

We also hit the Lego store, Grand Central, Nintendo World, Hard Rock cafe, etc. And they were already putting up the tree in Rockefeller Center.

It was a tiring week, but we did lots! Spent one evening in Strawberry Fields and playing in the leaves in Central Park.

We went to the Times Square museum where we left wishes on confetti for New Year's Eve. (On one piece of confetti, I left my cell number and asked for a text of "Happy New Year". I wonder what the odds are that someone will get my piece of confetti and text me? Like a zillion to one?)

Where do you like to go, over and over again? Is there a place you feel particularly at home?

thanks for reading about my adventure!
