Happy Birthday to Me...let me spread the love!!

Guess what?

It's my birthday today!!

As of midnight last night I'm officially 29 with 5 years of added experience. :) Woo Hoo!!

I love birthdays and holidays of any kind and I'm glad I can share a special part of my day with each of you lovely people!! I'm definitely not one of those people that hides that it's her birthday. Seriously, I made it another year and it's AWESOME!!

So...it's a little backwards but I decided to have a giveaway and give one lucky commenter a bit of Members Only swag, plus a giant candy cane to...umm...celebrate the holidays in style.

Why a candy cane the size of your forearm? If you'll read A Very Menage Christmas all of your answers will be answered!!!! Quite a good way to kick off the holiday season if I do say so myself!

Okay, so to enter to win the giveaway just leave me a comment and tell me your favorite birthday memory. A great gift, awesome trip you took, surprise party...

You just might win a few stocking stuffers you can't get anywhere else!!!

  1. My favorite birthday memory is from my 19th birthday. My birthday was 3 days after 9/11 and I am from NY (right outside the city) so I was completely bummed. My boyfriend (now my husband) took me on a shopping spree at the mall and told me that I was special and deserved to be celebrated <3

  2. My favorite birthday memory is from this year when I turned 30 again (lol) I didn't get a big party when I turned 30 so my friends and family wanted to make it up to me this year. I had a huge party at a local bar. We're friends with the local DJ so he made sure I had a great night! Several hotties bought me drinks...I just I would have remembered to get their numbers!!
Happy Birthday!! I hope your day rocks!!

  5. my favorite is from 2011. a few days after my birthday I get a call from Good Morning America's marketing group letting me know I was one of the winners of their trip for 2 to the world premier of Pirates of the Caribbean 4 at Disneyland in California that GMA was giving away. I took my daughter and we got plane tickets and rental car included, 3 days 2 nights at a Hilton down the street from Disney, 2 2-day passes for Disneyland, and tickets to the premier. 6. All Christmases are good but I rate mine by the gifts I am able to give others or the happiness that I get to witness with them. So in saying that one of my favorite memories was when I was 18 and still living at home right after graduation. I was working at Montgomery Wards in the Automotive center and I got my first credit card (this was pre-Dave Ramsey mind you) for Montgomery Wards. So I bought my mom and dad a new microwave (I can't remember if we didn't have one or if we had one but it was old) and a new deluxe bakers rack that would hold the new microwave. I had kept it out in my truck until we opened gifts (we always opened gifts on Xmas eve) and when it was their turn I went out and carried them in (they were heavy but I had wrapped them). I watched my mom and dad as they opened the gifts and the surprise and pleasure I saw was a wonderful feeling considering how many Christmases they had been responsible for the same look on my face. Happy Birthday Jenn!

    1. Hi Johnny!! Thanks for the bday wishes! It's been such a great day. I honestly don't remember a better one! I love giving gifts. Seeing someone else's eyes light up and they moment of pause when they discover what you got them. LOVE THAT!

  8. Happy birthday! I hope you have a wonderful day. I will be celebrating my birthday in a couple of weeks....29 with 10 years experience (or as I tell my nieces & nephews, 21 with 18 years experience). One of my favorite birthdays was a few years ago. My sister, brother, 2 nieces, and 3 nephews all spent the evening eating pizza, cupcakes, watching videos, playing video games, and just laughing and having fun. It was loud and crazy but so enjoyable.

    1. I love the extra years of experience. We are seasoned birthday goers now! I've had the best day. And I love bdays like the one you described. It doesn't have to be outlandish and crazy. As long as you feel special that is all that matters. :)

  9. You asked: Tell me your favorite birthday memory. A great gift, awesome trip you took, surprise party...

My daughter threw me a surprise party for my 60th at my fav restaurant. All of my work and close friends were invited. Since it was a Chinese buffet it was wonderfully good food. You could get many entrées made to order. Of course we all stuffed ourselves. For dessert, Red Velvet cake! My absolute favorite. Yum! We practically closed the place out. I enjoyed the eating and the convo with family and friends. It was awesome!

I wish you happy birthday and many more wonderful years on this earth! :-)

    Thanks for the opportunity.
