Personally, I despise April Fools Day. You can call me a hater. I don't care. I don't like pranking people and I really don't like being pranked. Soooo, if you want me to growl and be angry with you, go right ahead, LOL. My brothers tried it once I think when we were kids and then they wisely left me out of it after that.
Now, don't get me wrong. I love to laugh and joke and kid around, and have a fabulously sarcastic sense of humor...with a little bit of gutter-brain mixed in. BUT, pranks just aren't my cup of tea.
In my book, if I don't want to be made to feel like a fool, why would anyone else enjoy the sensation?
I started working out with a trainer three times a week. My body is groaning from that choice. Hopefully it will start to pay off. I did stop eating sweets 5 days out of the week. That's helpful, right? I bought a used treadmill to have at home, but I don't really like it. My knees were injured several years ago and I'm finding that the elliptical is much more injury friendly. So I'm going to have to swap those out soon. Or a stepper...have you ever worked out on a stepper. OMG! Climbing on one of those suckers is worse than anything my trainer could dream up. I laughed and told him that people waste thousands of dollars on all these different machines, when really all they need is one of those devil steppers. He laughed and nodded, telling me I was absolutely right and that the stair stepper was THE hardest cardio machine out there.
But, really, I am trying to watch everything. If you want to be my friend on MyFitnessPal.com look me up! My call sign is MacKenti1 (don't ask, it's a long story, LOL).
This last release, TAKING NICOLE, was such an accomplishment for me. It closed out the Vegas Mates Series (but left an opening for a spin off, don't freak out!). It was bittersweet. I was sad to say goodbye to that world for now, but really excited to pick up and start working on a new project. *rubbing hands together* You will love the new books that are coming. I promise.
If you haven't picked up a copy of TAKING NICOLE yet, be sure you do! You don't want to miss the end of the saga!
Vegas Mates, Book 4
The last thing Nicole Demakis remembers was getting in the car with Sarah’s kidnapper and driving away. Now she faces the cold hard truth. The kidnapper, an agent of the Council, is her mate. But he refuses to claim her, and the Council may take everything away before she even has a chance to convince him to trust her.
Aaron Katsaros was ordered to deliver Nicole to her grandparents, the Antipas royal wolves. It should’ve been an easy task. Clean. No hiccups. But this infuriating woman, this wolf, his mate…is one hiccup after another and she’s arousing him to the point of pain. With his sister’s life hanging in the balance, he refuses to allow his passion to cost him the only family he has left.
Can he find a way to save his mate, or will he be forced to watch another claim the woman he loves?
