Resolutions?

I can’t believe it’s 2015! I hope you are all having a fab start to your new year!
Do you believe in New Year’s Resolutions?
I’m not sure I want to put that kind of tag to it. Maybe it’s too much pressure. LOL.

I pretty much say the same thing every year: I’m gonna quit cussing (I usually blow that one before the day even ends.) and I’m going to lose weight.

They’re my gold standards and I usually fail. Maybe not completely, but I don’t ever get to the point where I can “check them off the list.”

So, I think this year, I’ll be honest with myself. I probably won’t stop cussing. (Sometimes I have the mouth of a trucker or a sailor—guess poor truckers and poor sailors) and I won’t lose weight unless I apply myself.

Perhaps the smart thing to do would be just change these two things about myself without the pressure of the word resolution. I’ll give it a shot when I’m ready, I guess.
Or I could focus on what seems to mean more to me: writing books.

For 2014 I had a goal (no more scary word resolution here) of writing 8. I made it to 6, though I didn’t finish the 6th one before the year ended. I hope to have it done mid-January.
I also had 7 books release.

So for 2015, I want to match what I accomplished. I want to write, edit, release, repeat.
I don’t seem to have a problem with story idea shortages; I have more of a time issue. There’s never enough.

Since there’s no changing that, (unless I move to a different planet) I guess I’ll cope and work hard.

So, resolution or not, I’m gonna own 2015, just like I did 2014!

What about you?
